Latika is based in Bracknell and is the only all-junior Tennis Club in Berkshire. The objective of the club is to develop the children's tennis skills whilst having fun too. Latika is one of very few tennis clubs in the country run exclusively for children. The club's aim is to improve the standard of players by making tennis fun. The membership consists of over 100 children aged between 5 and18 years who are trained in groups according to ability. The club is fortunate to have the use of 5 courts at the Farley Wood Community Centre and holds coaching sessions there every Saturday. Latika fields more teams in the county junior leagues than any other club in Berkshire and many players have represented the county and some have progressed to play at national level. Within the club there is a full programme of both summer and winter tournaments to improve match-play skills.
